Never give up! (Also.. cheater?)
So I played someone who seemed a bit below my level and blundered mate-in-one. They challenged a rematch and I accepted (free rating points?).. I did not play particularly well, especially after blundering my bishop, then losing the exchange. Some moves in the middle game seemed pretty suspect.. strange moves that were top or excellent, and…

Breaking 900 again
So…after breaking 1200 I opted to start a new rating climb. This is a new personal record for blunders. 😁

Ouch. I recommend skip recreating the first 13 episodes of the latest rating climb series and just start recreating the later episodes with the word blunder crossed out.
Refocus and best of luck moving back up to 1200!

Accidental win
Didnt even see the checkmate. Was excited to keep attacking. I really wanted the c6 to jam up his position but naturally stink fish didnt like it. Good game to my opponent!

Welp, he just blundered his Queen and resigned.

He didn’t even wait until you did a discovered attack with Be6+ so you could capture the queen.
Rule of thumb for everyone should be to wait for your opponent to capitalize on the blunder before you resign. There is always a chance that your opponent won’t recognize your mistake and you can recover.

OMG JUST BROKE 1200!
This is nuts. Totally missed a mate in 1 because I was so focused on the other side of the board. Good game to my opponent and THANKS to Nelson for the Scandanavian course!

Nelson is human!
After a long “practice” session (overzealous playing without fully completing study) I thought it best to finish the breaking 1500 course. Watch the “tilted” lesson if you are losing and getting upset. Nelson reminded me we all need to just stop and give ourselves a break.

Tilting is a major problem of mine. Lately I have been giving myself 2 loses per session. Once I lose twice it is time to quit for the day. So far I seem to be doing okay with this. Even put together a little 5 game win streak.

Broke 1100!
This was anybody’s game. Made a few poor moves; mouse slipped move 75 and opponent pre moved trying to flag and missed a draw. Good game to them.
