So I played someone who seemed a bit below my level and blundered mate-in-one. They challenged a rematch and I accepted (free rating points?).. I did not play particularly well, especially after blundering my bishop, then losing the exchange. Some moves in the middle game seemed pretty suspect.. strange moves that were top or excellent, and…

Accidental brilliant move
Didn’t mean to sac my knight but managed to make it work. Got to study those pawn positions more! Originally started with owens defense.

Nelson is human!
After a long “practice” session (overzealous playing without fully completing study) I thought it best to finish the breaking 1500 course. Watch the “tilted” lesson if you are losing and getting upset. Nelson reminded me we all need to just stop and give ourselves a break.

Tilting is a major problem of mine. Lately I have been giving myself 2 loses per session. Once I lose twice it is time to quit for the day. So far I seem to be doing okay with this. Even put together a little 5 game win streak.
