Thank you nelson! I joined breaking 1500 last december, i was rated a little over 500 took time to watch the courses and started limiting my games in order to not get tilted and today i just broke 1000 🫡

Hi @ameerbazzigmail-com so sorry for the delayed reply here! You can’t reset the program on your own, but we can help do it for you. I’ve gone ahead and reset your progress so you can go back through the course and mark the lessons/modules complete as you go. Let us know if anything else is needed!

Can you discuss bishop to b5 pinning the knight to the rook, instead of King to b7?

I think white would just play Re1 and get out of the pin without too much trouble.

I am starting with the Stonewall and am seeing some games play 1. d4…d5 2. e3…c5 3. c3…c4 4. b3…b5
I am not sure if there is a different move order but I cannot get the bishop to d3. What should my general plans be in this case?

@dbowers1223gmail-com First of all, if the bishop is already on d3 you just drop it back to c2 when they attack it. IF they push so early like in your example, you have 2 options: 1) try to play e4 almost immediately, because when they take on e4 with dxe4, they no longer have anything defending the c4 pawn and you just take with the bishop.… Read more

@CascadesStudios Are you talking about move 40? No, I would not give up your rook like that. Rooks are much stronger than bishops at the end so I definitely would keep the rook and use it to win you the game later.
