also when going full screen I can hear your voice but not have any video display

thanks for looking into these glitches

    • Hey Max, first time hearing of this problem. Is this still happening? Have you tried closing other windows in your browser and possibly restarting your computer?

    • Okay guys, I’m super proud of this one.. I think I probably had a personal record for # of pins in a game! Crazy fun game…

    • I ordered this course for my 6-year-old son, whose rating is around 450 on Chess.com. How do we teach the kid to slow down and do blunder checking?

      • Tim

Make his goal to have as few blunders and mistakes by Game Review as possible.. and winning doesn’t count (but it will likely come along with it).

        • I’d just keep reminding him and eventually it’ll start to sink in. I’ve learned with our kids that if you keep reminding them they eventually get it, but it sometimes takes a while at that age.

        • In round 7 of the Texas tournament, why did that bishop move from your opponent Nelson necessitate sac’ing your Queen?

          • Tim

I wondered the same thing and did an analysis on it. If he unpins the queen by moving it, there’s too many discoveries and forks with the knights and bishops that you end up losing too much material (worse than queen).

          • Tom, losing the queen for 2 pieces is losing 9 and getting 6 points so really just like losing a piece (3 points). Of course that’s not ideal, but the other scenarios seemed even worse mainly to my king coming under fire. At least the way I did the game could go on and I had a fighting chance (although slim).

        • Hi everyone. At a relatively late age (45), I finally decided to take up chess. I am currently on chess.com and find myself losing more games than I can count! I am excited about learning and getting to the next level.

          • Tim

Congrats and best wishes to your progress! The great thing about chess is you don’t have to say, “well I was just unlucky that time”.. either you win (which is fun, of course), or you learn! (And often win & learn) You probably started at a higher rating than where you should be currently, but it will flatten out to people equally as good…

          • I am on module 3. I downlaoded the Owens and Stonewall PDFs but tbey either dont open or are blank.

            • They are PGNs so you need to open them with chess.com or Lichess

              • Chris you’ll need to use the analysis board on chess.com or lichess.org to view the PGN files.

              • Oh man, what happened? Such a promising position, and I squandered it! On the review, I’m not quite understanding the recommended moves 32+ – seems to make my position worse as far as I can tell…..

              • I’m a late bloomer to the fascinating world of chess, and I’m excited to learn and grow!

                  • Hi Carieann, welcome to Breaking 1500!
