    • Yeah Larry that consistency is what separates a strong player from a REALLY strong player. When I was about 1700 I realized I was playing just as good as my 1900 and 2000 rated opponents MOST of the time. It was those rare moments when I would slip up that would cost me the game. To get past 2000 I had to learn to be extra careful on every single move.
