Managed to get to 1250 ( well 1249) , thanks Nelson for the blunder check list ! Only 1 blunder in last 14 games & that was a pawn in a game I eventually won . This course is wonderful & a resource for ever !!

Just started the final module about reviewing your games , I don’t have a computer & struggling to do it on my tablet – guess I’ll have to use pen & paper 😵💫 – anyone with technical knowhow got better options for me , be grateful !

2 questions , please . First does anyone know when the online chess mastery bonus will be live ? It says 1st August at 4am on my tablet even if that is EST in US that’s 9am UK – not live as yet . Secondly to Nelson , how much time ( if any ) should I spend trying to work out premoving as in when / where etc ? Online chess is comparatively new… Read more

Message to CJ – a while ago we talked about playing against someone who made a lot of pawn moves in the opening & this seemed to be ” popular ” at the moment . I mentioned that I was playing 2 daily matches ( black & white ) against someone who was doing this and at that time was rated about 400 points ahead of me . Said I would let you know… Read more

Plea to James , who very kindly put a game of mine ( WildSam21 on Chess.com) on this activity area a while ago , or indeed anyone who might help do the same for a rapid game I just played against OCBLACKX20 . Was having a chat with CJ and we were discussing people who push a load of pawns forward . First time it’s happened to me & it’s a far… Read more

Need some advice if anyone has any sort of answer . I play against people (as opposed bots) on Lichess , Chess Royale & Chess.com . On Lichess & Chess Royale my mind is relatively clear yet on Chess.com I get a sort of brain freeze & no idea why ? Any ideas anyone ?

I’d guess that you value your rating on chess.com more than the others. I get an adrenaline rush when playing and have a winning position and also worry that I’m about to mess it up – thats when a bit of brain freeze can come in for me. Nelson touches on it in the Tilt section – have the mind set of win or lose we still gain something from it…

Just done the game review on that game & played to 91% accuracy over 28 moves & no I’m not having rice for tea 🤣

Thank you Johnathan for your kind comment – these reply links confuse me 😵💫 ! It doesn’t happen to me very often at all , pleased with early to mid 80’s !! Just happens occasionally ! Also , it was only 24 moves , somehow misread it ! Shock most likely 😂 ! My opponent resigned on my move ! Thanks again .
