I started playing chess in March this year as a complete beginner, I was hooked and wanted to get better. I bought Levy Rozmans’ book and found he had split it into two chapters: Part one aimed at beginners from 0 – 800 elo and part two aimed at intermediate players between 800 – 1200.

This gave me my first target to hit 800 elo! Today I finally hit this after yo-yoing up and down between 650 and 750 for the last 5 weeks!

I have fallen in love with the game and although it can be incredibly frustrating I love learning and pushing my self to improve! My next goal will be to hit the 4 digit (1000) elo mark and then push to 1200. Im hoping I can achieve this within another 6 months if I keep learning like I am now!
