Went back and worked the puzzle. My first thought was to see if the queen could be trapped. That was the answer. The queen coming back to the first rank set the trap. This enabled the pawn pushes which didn’t allow the black queen to hide. After the black queen takes the white pawn there is no where to hide and moving the rook next to it seals it’s fate as the rook is protected by it’s queen .

It wasn’t easy for me. I moved the pieces around till I found the right combo. Then it all made sense. Hope this helps.
