I don’t know what to think about this last game, I’m only around 450 I was paired with a 600 and lost. On the plus side even though I was on the defensive for the whole game. I didn’t make any blunders! I guess some small victory?

      • Can you post the game?

            • @nightflyerjoeyahoo-com Im not good enough to coach you personally, but reviewing the inaccurate moves helps me understand certain patterns. I noticed your accuracy was lower. My best games have been over 80% so that makes the difference. Sady I lose as many as I win lol.

              • @nightflyerjoeyahoo-com forgot to mention I have found in owens if white doesn’t allow the pawn blunder then I keep my kings bishop back until I have a better square and develop knights first. I consider black to be defensive until white screws up and allows me to attack. I see A LOT of white attacks on my king side; they use battery of queen and one or both bishops along with their knight and a pawn storm BUT it can be defended with good moves. I once ended up with a castled kingside, rook on e8 and N at f6 and f8 to defend the h7 pawn. Yeah white tore my king side open but we both ended up with our minor pieces gone. It was fun. 😃

              • seems to have worked ! I may not become a better player but maybe I’ll get better at the computer

Here is one you might find useful. Sadly my opponent resigned. https://www.chess.com/game/121289776498

Now I know when i see them do this I can run and hide. I didnt think beyond a move or two which is a mistake because I might have lost a knight. Thats how the masters find the best move and why I am not one 👍🏼

                  • You looked pretty solid thru all of it to me. Where the engine said you moved your piece twice was an inaccuracy, you used that move to develope your knight.

Like i said, looked good to me.
