I have a question about a game where I played black with Owen’s Defence:

On move 10, I capture with the bishop thinking that if they take my knight, I can take the pawn on g2 and take the rook. Apparently that was not a good move – can anyone explain how to work through the calculation to arrive at the correct move (capture with knight, not bishop)

I think this is one of those cases where the chess engine doesn’t really reflect reality. I looked at what Stockfish thought were the best moves and neither I, nor my opponents, would have made any of those moves. You are a higher level than I am, but none of us are playing like Stockfish.
I thought you had a good plan, however white could not take your knight as that pawn was pinned by your rook. A good win in the end.
