I have to say just following the principles something clicks in time. I am currently around 1050 in rapid and decided to challenge myself to play Blitz to see if I could learn to calculate faster in my head. Just wanted to share a game where I shocked myself. On move 18 I was able to calculate several steps ahead to trade the knight for bishop and win a rook. I am playing as Black.
