On openings I’ve only looked at the under 800
My question on the Owens is , after
      1. e4-b6
      2. d4-b7
      3. ? why doesn’t white simply play d5 ?
seems like that would block the attack on e4 with a pawn defended by its queen

      Martin J and Wesley H

      • You would just attack their pawn in that case with e6 and then Nf6 and they actually have a lot to worry about otherwise their center will collapse. I believe we talked about it in one of the previous group coaching calls, so I’d say go watch those when you have time and it should answer a lot of that question. Hope that helps!
