So if anyone is interested in playing Stonewall as black, know that it’s totally playable against 1. d4. I’ve used it exclusively in my recent rating climb up to 1390. (I use Scandinavian Modern Variation vs 1. e4)
Here’s an example game I played today. Got a 93.5% accuracy on 17 moves.
You obviously start out a move behind, but so many of the concepts are similar that you it makes learning it deeply pretty easy. If you like the Stonewall as white, you may want to try it as black.

Aman does a lot of black Stonewall in this series.

It is a bit boring but if you think through the moves it is a lot easier that trying to consistently set up Stonewall against others. I learned from it. (I like Nelson’s analysis better.)

I’ve watched all 20 hours of Aman’s speedrun and it gave me a much deeper understanding. Nelson’s analysis is great, but 20 hours of explained games just grants a broader understanding.
I view them as complimentary
