Still slogging through. In the meantime, I’m using the custom puzzles on Chess.com to focus on tactics. My Mate in 1 success is 58%. I’ve gotten 19 of 20 in last couple of days. When success gets to 60% I will switch to a different one.
I am getting a lot out of this course even though not moving as quickly as some others.

I’m right there with you Charles, trying to work my way up the rating scale. The custom puzzle feature is an excellent way to help with tactics. Hang in there, good things will happen.

I just realized that the practice with the custom puzzles does not move that percentage. That is for the general puzzles. \
Time to move to a different tactic on the custom puzzles and play some games!

@JamesQMurphy I agree with you completely. I am doing one or two lessons in this a day with practice in Chess.com as well.
