Something I want to share that frustrates me is my rating swings. I mostly play 3 min blitz recently and few days ago I reached my max of 1130 on chess.com just to drop down today to 892 which is more than 200 down. I am not really sure where does this come from. Maybe I am overplaying? or I am getting stronger opponents that are starting to crush me, lol
Anyway this is really frustrating experience. Anyone with similar experience here?

I am 1150-1200 in rapid and I can’t seem to get past 900 in blitz. I don’t understand how these lower rated blitz players are so good, but it’s insane.
My focus is to get better at longer time controls and then once I feel I am faster at spotting tactics and not blundering as much, then I will go back and try more blitz games. I think the time pressure makes me blunder way more 🤷🏻♂️

This is for sure that time pressure makes you blunder. Done this so many times. My rating in rapid is around 1100 and I was thinking I could keep the same in blitz but life is showing me differently haha.

I’m similar & I find 3 min blitz generally too quick for me . If I do play it I’ve switched to 5/2 time control . Also find this premoving thing too much for me to try to learn ! Got enough trying not blundering 😵💫
