I’m really enjoying the class. I’ve been working my way through the course (half way through module 4) but I spent a lot of extra time on Chapter 3 getting familiar with the recommended openings, as they are pretty different from what I was used to playing.

I happened to notice, that Igor Smirnov just made a video on the English defense, calling it a great universal opening for Black against D4. My SECRET Universal Opening System [NO THEORY] – YouTube. It mostly was just a nice validation of Nelsen’s opening selection and coaching, and I did learn a couple of additional useful concepts from Igor’s video.
