Hey everyone, it’s great to see all those success messages! I’m also enjoying the stonewall and the Owen’s defense a lot and managed to break 1000 Elo after hovering around 900 for a while. I’m winning >57% of the games with white and >54% of the ones with black currently so I think I can go quite a bit higher still.
But anyway, I’m just writing to share a little feature I just discovered on chess.com if you got the diamond membership. It’s part of the “Insights” statistics and it lets you very easily find missed tactis. As you can see from the screenshots I’m doing ok with the pins and some of the forks, but I really need to pay more attention to pawn forks.
But the best part is that you can get a list of the misses and with just a click go to the according move in the game to review the situation and learn from it. For me personally that is the killer feature of the diamond membership and a great resource to figure out where I need to work on most.
