So I sac’d my bishop to start the kingside attack and I wasnt able to capitalize. My attack fizzled out. It was his pesky light squared bishop that saved the game. So the question is, what plan can you implement if the bishop attacks/pins the knight but doesnt take it? Or what could i have done differently?

Richard, when you played Rf3 I think you can try the move g4! the idea is to follow up with f5 and either trap his bishop (if he moved it back) or block it off from defending h7 (if he took c2 for example). For example, g4, Bxc2, f5, exf5, Qh7#
