Message to CJ – a while ago we talked about playing against someone who made a lot of pawn moves in the opening & this seemed to be ” popular ” at the moment . I mentioned that I was playing 2 daily matches ( black & white ) against someone who was doing this and at that time was rated about 400 points ahead of me . Said I would let you know what happens . Thanks to this course esp the blunder check training & Nelson’s other advice , I’ve just managed to win both !! I only have a tablet ( no computer ) so not sure how to go about sharing them with you . You could look up WildSam21 in the members list on Chess.com & see them there ? Were against Ellisdegard , unless you know how I could otherwise share them with you ( or others ? )

I have business during the day here with limited net time, but I’ll look into it tonight. Meanwhile I just got beat by a early queen attack of a type I’m not used to and appears to be suited to counter me playing Owens. I’ll post the game in a main post as I can’t be the only one dealing with this.

I just won against the same tactics, I’m posting both games in a bit. The win got clunky after I did blunder but I was way ahead in material and could trade down multiple times just to clear the board, but then won on time.
