Hi Everyone,
Just an update.
I have reached the 1200+ rating on Rapid in chess.com again. I’ve been here a few times in the past. I teeter just shy of 1300 and then eventually, I sink back down to 900, then I make it back to 1000, then 1100.
I wish I could consistently stay at 1200. I am coolguydork at chess.com.

Hello Nelson,
- In chess.com, many of my games are often rated 2000, 1900, 1800 in the Game Reviews. And yet, my Rapid rating is still ~1100. Of the games I win, they’re often rated this way. What am I missing?

Hey Peter, regarding the ratings in Game Review, I would be careful putting too much stock in that. It doesn’t do a great job of taking into consideration how complex the game was that you were playing. Sometimes I get 100 accuracy in short, very easy games where I hardly had to think at all. Then other times my accuracy is 60 something but…
