      Hi all,

I noticed a few months ago that Nelson was giving some masterclasses on his Youtube channel about the book ‘Logical chess, move by move’ by Irving Chernev.

Which other books are also a MUST read?

        • Chernev’s follow-on book, “The Most Instructive Games of Chess Ever Played’ is also very good. For the middlegame, Michael Stean’s “Simple Chess” is a classic and very easy to understand.

            1) 100 Endgames You Must Know by Jesus de la Villa
            2) My 60 Memorable Games by Bobby Fischer
            3) Secrets of Modern Chess Strategy by John Watson
            4) How To Reassess Your Chess By Jeremy Silman
            5) Silman’s Complete Endgame Course

The next logical chess episode (posting to the channel on Friday) will have some more details about these books. Hope that helps!
