									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;m trying to get a feel on how best to divide my learning time to best achieve my goal of breaking 1500 (+321 since the end of June).</p>
<p>I tend to spend a fair amount of time watching the lessons here and trying to absorb info from the YT Channel.  I find I can control this much easier and start and stop as needed given the inevitable&hellip;</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I would like to see some thoughts/discussion on how long to stay &#8220;on script&#8221; with openings when the opponent doesn&#8217;t seem to be cooperating (how dare they)?  Outright blunders seem easy enough, but other times it&#8217;s not as straightforward on when to stick with the opening line vs. react to threats or other &#8220;off script&#8221; responses.</p>

Recently a good friend got into chess and we started playing so I felt the need to improve.  I found the YouTube channel maybe a month ago which inspired me to join Chess.com and start playing/training there.  It&#8217;s still a work&hellip;</p>
