Hey Nelson, I’ve been trying out the Stonewall and Owen’s Defense in many games. I find in the game analysis, a lot of the opening moves are not totally accurate, but most of the time, I end up in pretty much the same position or setup. Should I be more concerned about opening accuracy and making those moves in the correct order, or is it better to focus on getting the general setup for those openings (while not making obvious mistakes)?

Yeah I would focus on getting the general setup without making obvious mistakes. The engine is going to say there are better and more perfect ways to respond but you would have to play different openings every single game depending on what your opponent did. In our case it’s more important to get a system we’re comfortable with and get into the middlegame in positions we understand. Hope that helps!
