I started at 100 elo. I played 31 games in a row. I won 27 of them. I went straight to 600 In one sitting…. I think I can go father If I got this far with only 4 losses. WE will see….. wish me luck… gang.

I was about 700 ELO then I got this course. I started to be aware of any Blunders ( I could find ) I fell down to about 300 ELO. I must have been blundering everywhere, my opponent too. Now I am much more solid and climbing past 500. Maybe this game is extra hard for me lol. I took an ELO test on Lischess? They said I am 840…. I am confused…

I am so disappointed In myself. I was making progress. Passed 500……… Just lost so many games In a row I am down to 430………. I don’t Understand what happened. I was almost 700. Then started to do a Blunder list ………. went down to 350………. Climbed back up to over 500….. Now falling back down………… I should be better.…

@mark-lynch6me-com 10 minute games………. I still miss a lot of tactics. Check mates I don’t see. I think my game is more solid. I think when I was almost 700 ELO myself and my opponent were making mistakes and missing them…. I know I need to Improve parts of my game…. I am just dragging my feet…. TY for the response

So question ? I have only been play a few months. How Important Is it to Attack Or Remove your opponents piece once it crosses to your side? Is it Vital? Are there times you Just can’t find a way BUT we should always try?

I am no expert . I think as far as chess goes Its great to have an Idea BUT I also think we need to adapt as we play. I don’t think there Is an opening or gambit that leads to victory. I think following solid principles and developing a good eye Is vital. It’s a hard game. You will get better . Keep playing.

I started trying to reach 120 ELO. I have played soi much over the last 3 months. I have reached 640 tonight. I have not been through this course as of yet. I have started it. Does Nelson ever come on here? He sure does advertise well. I give him props for that.

I am 58 . I have had 2 mild strokes. Doc told me playing Chess and reading a lot could help my cognition and memory . I am really spaced out from it. So I started playing a few months a go. I am up to 560 ELO BUT, I played just to challenge my mind and hopefully help out my situation. Soooooo As a result I played only to play NOT to work on…

I try to move a little faster In very familiar territory. Then when I am In the weeds I use that time to think it through. Losing to the clock is a Bummer =)

That is very common.. I am climbing to 600. I still mistake Checkmate for Stalemate. It Is crazy how If you take Nelson’s advice and look at the LAST move your opponent makes and DON’T blunder. You will usually win. The don’t blunder part Is the trick. I have learned I really have to have my head In the game. If I move ONCE casually and…
