I also just noticed that my own trophy count doesn’t match my game history. I have 13 Blitz wins which should be 117 trophies, but somehow I’m showing 162 (which would be 18 Blitz wins, it’s 9 trophies per win in blitz, 15 in rapid, 3 in bullet). Personally, I focus on blunder checks because it’s the larger weakness for me. I tend to find tactics pretty easily. I too often see tactics and go gung ho for them without realizing I’m actually blundering. So, I’d say it depends on which is the greater weakness for you.

If your touchpad is registering your tap as a click and hold or picking up unintentional clicks (because it’s too sensitive, or getting sticky if the laptop is old), I can see this happening. With a mouse, you can click-hold-drop pieces. So maybe turn off the tap to click setting and use the buttons instead?

Personally, if I blunder the queen for free I’ll usually resign. I do this more out of self-interest than worrying about my opponent’s time. Best way to avoid cheaters is to check their profile before you make your first move. Abort any games with brand new accounts. The newer the account, the greater the likelihood you’ll find a cheater since they have to create new accounts every time they get banned.

Here’s a daily game where I was able to open the f file and the diagonal for my dark squared bishop and mount a decent attack. He managed to get away castling queen side, but I was still able to get a nice rook for bishop trade out of it. https://www.chess.com/game/daily/708555273

So, in the review of this game, there’s a point where h4 is the best engine move. Same thing happened to @ChessVibes during last night’s stream when he played a rice cooker and in the game I posted that was against a rice cooker. I’m starting to wonder how often h4 is actually an incredible move and we just miss it because we’re human, LMAO.

@keithsudermangmail-com I’ve watched some vids on this recently. They’re not scanning all the games as that would be too resource heavy and make the site unplayable. Their anti-cheat AI won’t look at the cheater’s games unless they’re reported by more than one person. Then, if the AI struggles to make a determination it’ll pass it to a human to review.

@CJValkyrie I second the e5 vs Stonewall issue. I know to take it, but the follow-up leaves me confused sometimes. If they haven’t played Nc6 yet and so can’t take yet, should we try to protect our pawn or just develop and leave it hanging? Also, thoughts on still playing f4 after that?

This is an interesting game review. I found myself up a full rook and bishop and yet the engine says he didn’t blunder (some mistakes yes, but you’d think being up that much materially would involve a blunder). I’m loving the Owen’s Defense.
