First time I have seen this pattern in a game… nice! I have seen it in plenty of puzzles, but never in an actual game!

@sazstuff thanks to puzzles I recognized the pattern right away, but when I analyzed, I saw I missed being able to have that mate sooner. In fact, the way I did it he could have sacked the rook for the knight and then I wouldn’t have gotten the smothered mate.
