Hi Nelson and team. In the Owen’s defense, what do you do if right after pinning the knight, they try to chase it away moving the pawn to a3? To you retreat or do you just trade for the knight right away?

Yeah James is right, usually you’ll want to trade the bishop for the knight so you can keep the pressure going on the light squares in the center.

Complete Noob here (467). I didn’t start playing chess until after I found Nelson’s channel, which I found so entertaining I would watch for fun to relax in the evenings.
