So why does @ChessVibes call cheaters “rice cookers”? LOL

The lore is in this video:

In lesson 4.5: Pins, @ChessVibes says that black would block the queen from the check with the knight, but wouldn’t black just lose their queen to the bishop on f6 if they did that?
-
Black would have 2 rooks and 2 minor pieces vs queen and rook. Should be winning for black.
-
Yes but black has so many pieces in exchange for the queen white would probably be in trouble.

I seem to be losing games with the Stonewall Attack when my opponent castles queenside. Anyone else having a similar issue and know how to combat it?
-
Plan to talk about this in the first live group coaching call!

I’ve found the chess.com bots play about 300-400 less than their supposed rating, so I tried out stonewall against an 1800-1900 bot and it always delays castling which makes it much more challenging.. really if they don’t give you the king side you’re just jammed up with a rook and bishop that are out of the game.. not really liking the opening thus far.

Well, after losing to the Augustus (1865) bot (as an ~1050 player) about 20 times, the first time it castled queenside I finally won! I liked being able to get my stuck bishop and rook in the action on that side, actually. Here it is in case it helps: https://www.chess.com/analysis/game/computer/139768223?tab=analysis

I had this game just now while playing the Stonewall Attack. I just reached my new peak today, 1,100! I’m really enjoying these openings!

Nice! I just hit 1100 a new PR as well. Only 401 left for us to go!
