Loving the course , but feel I need some reality check advice ! In brief , I played chess for my school up to the age of 18 . During the next 43 years or so , barely played at all , too many other things , but started playing again last year primarily to help recovery following a stroke ( excellent game as uses both sides of the brain ) . Fallen in love with the game again & thoroughly enjoying it . I’m 63 later this year & need advice on expectations I should realistically expect in terms ratings climb . Did play in a simul whilst working in Hong Kong against Miguel Najdorf – not that we Brits like to name drop 😵‍💫😂
