Of course that&#8217;s not ideal, but the other scenarios seemed even worse mainly to my king coming under fire. At least the way I did the game could go on and I had a fighting chance (although slim). </p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Mario, 10 min rapid is actually very fast when you&#8217;re still learning. I would try 30 minute games or 15 | 10 so you can slow down more. When you&#8217;re learning new concepts it&#8217;s always better to play slower rather than faster. </p>

If that pawn was on h6 instead, then since white&#8217;s g6 pawn blocks their pieces kingside would probably be okay. Also since you had moved most of your pieces to the queenside, that&#8217;s probably going to be a safer place than the kingside. </p>

I think personally I&#8217;d start with 50/50 and then see if you feel like you need more studying or more practicing what you already learned. So on move 9 when they played Bd3 you really needed to take it, because by letting them take on g6 later it ruined your pawn structure and created very big weaknesses around your king. If you take Bxd3 and then continue on, I think you&#8217;d&hellip;</p>
