Hello Chess Vibes Community – I have finally found some much needed coaching (I think). My Chess.com rating is under 400, last week it was over 500. After over 5K rapid (10 min. games) in the past 2-3 years, I expect I would be much better than 500. I have studied allot but I am doing or not doing something that causes me to loose more…

I checked out a few of your games. My suggestion is to follow all of Nelson’s principles. You don’t need the Stonewall/Owen’s openings necessarily, but you’re not castling, using the queen far too much, etc. Also, before playing each move, think about what you would play if you were them. If that takes too long, go to 15 or 30 minute…
