The worst butchering of that I&#8217;ve heard is &#8220;CROY-cents&#8221; &#x1f602;&#x1f923;<br />But now that I know that &#8220;croissant&#8221; rhymes with &#8220;en passant&#8221; I&#8217;ll be pronouncing that properly now.</p>

The bots blunder in much different ways that a human would and humans play things the bots never would.<br />

Daily games give you much more time to consider moves and the analysis tool which is indispensable for blunder checks so I play much better on daily. I think most human opponents would have simply taken your knight with the queen.  And while I will almost always trade a knight for a bishop, that would make the black queen much more active.  I think I prefer the line you played.</p>

<p>I am trying to play the Owen&#8217;s as black and Stockfish hated most of my moves. They were pretty bad, but I did have a goal in mind after White castled; get my Queen to g2.</p>
<p>On move 16 I initiated a knight trade to get White&#8217;s knight off of f3 opening up the long light squared diagonal. A little bit like&hellip;</p>

<p>I got a good chuckle from this as I recently read a chess.com forum post where a user said, &#8220;it&#8217;s not a blunder if your opponent blunders harder&#8221;.  To get 13 blunders in one game means your opponent was blundering just as hard as you were. LOL.</p>

<p>I&#8217;m black and playing the Owen&#8217;s Defense. White blundered their rook on move three&#8230; and I didn&#8217;t see it.  How did I not see it.  I&#8217;m still banging my head on my desk.</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t know if this was &#8220;Hope Chess&#8221; or &#8220;Psy-Ops&#8221;; but on move 16 I noticed that if I could get my Queen to h2 it would be checkmate.  I purposely didn&#8217;t&hellip;</p>

Don&#8217;t worry about taking longer than your opponent.  At our level an opponent that is moving quickly is likely either A) cheating, or B) about to blunder hard.  And it&#8217;s likely B.  Just keep making solid moves like you did.<br />

The bots don&#8217;t miss anything, they are just programmed to make random bad moves.  People miss things. Even Nelson misses things from time to time. So it leads to much different kinds of games.<br />
