I love it when a plan comes together.
I am trying to play the Owen’s as black and Stockfish hated most of my moves. They were pretty bad, but I did have a goal in mind after White castled; get my Queen to g2.
On move 16 I initiated a knight trade to get White’s knight off of f3 opening up the long light squared diagonal. A little bit like the “Removing the Guard” tactic except that knight wasn’t guarding anything, it was just in the way.
Then on move 18 I pushed a pawn to c6 setting my “Honey Trap”. This would not have worked against a higher rated player, but if white takes my pawn it not only looks like they have forked my queen and bishop, but there is also a discovered attack on my rook!
