<p>I haven&#8217;t made it to 1500, but my goal was to improve, not necessarily hit a specific rating level.  I feel I have improved significantly.  Maybe my rating makes it to 1500 someday, maybe not. &hellip;</p>

<p>Rule of thumb for everyone should be to wait for your opponent to capitalize on the blunder before you resign.  There is always a chance that your opponent won&#8217;t recognize your mistake and you can recover.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Does the electronic board have different difficulty levels it plays at?  If it is set to play as stockfish (ELO ~3200), then it will totally destroy you (along with everyone else on this message board) regardless of what opening you play.  See if you can turn the engine difficulty down a bit and see if that helps.  </p>
