Qxg6, pawn recaptures, BxG6 check, king forced E7 only move.  Rook F7 check, king forced E7 only move, Rook H1 discovered check from bishop, king forced F8, capture rook H8 and check king in process, then get queen.  its crazy if you think of it.  I never saw it though. </p>

If I moved my pawn up G6, he sacs bishop. Then I believe he has an almost a mate in the corner with his queen. Plus my path to run had discovered checks from the rook and I just figured time to sacrifice. I got his bishop and knight for the trade so about even. </p>

I should have played my bishop to A6 vs. E6. But i didn&#8217;t see it at first and wanted to get more support around my king.  This player did several sacrifices I wasn&#8217;t expecting to open up my king.  But then&hellip;</p>

If your opponent is down to say 30 seconds and you have 1.5 mins, then you might be able to play defense and avoid trade offs to win. I don&#8217;t view that as unclassy.  But if i blunder my queen really early in the game, i will&hellip;</p>

<p>I&#8217;m a 953 on bullet (havent played that much in a long time)</p>
<p>1130 on Blitz but often lose on timeouts.</p>
<p>1321 on Rapid and prefer this more and more.</p>
<p>1594 on daily because you have so much time to think about moves and play&hellip;</p>
