i don’t think it is a feature you can disable at least not in the current version of chess.com you just hold down the right mouse button and drag the cursor to the desired square but i have seen some old post where there is a setting under board where it has an option to turn off the arrows. https://www.chess.com/forum/view/help-support/i-cant-draw-arrows-i-dont-know-why

Thank you! i honestly had never right clicked before and now see the arrows. i also dont often play on the desktop computer until recently. a lot of my games are on mobile. but i am going to try and build this into my chess skills when i play on my computer.
