I hit 1503 today in this game as black. I really like the Owens defense. It’s my base opening now for black. It sets up some great tactical opportunities with that bishop. Here’s my first game with the Stonewall. I won and it went very well. All the moves felt intuitive and natural. Also, I could tell that my opponent was out of his comfort zone from the very beginning. I was a little confused by the analysis of it but it rank me at 1950 for the game, so i am happy with that.
