Just finished the course. I was already around 1450 going into the course, but I think it was well worth it. My biggest eye opener was how much time and emphasis should be spend on the blunder check aspect of the game. As suggested in the last module I took a look at my last 20 losses and here is what I found out: 11/20 losses were due to a 1-move blunder either moving a piece where it could be taken for free, or not noticing that my opponent can win my piece after his last move. Looks like I definitely need to focus on this – thanks Nelson for opening my eyes to this!
