<p>Thank you for your reply, I like your attitude. I also use lichess mainly for studies and learning, because I like it better on lichess than on chess.com. The rating is not important to me either, but I just feel like I&#8217;m being made a fool of when I play against a 1700, 1900, 2000 or 2700 player. I&#8217;ve had 12 games like&hellip;</p>

The only game I gave up, I saw in the analysis that I would have delivered checkmate 2 moves later. I don&#8217;t give up anymore. I try to save myself in the endgame. It&#8217;s amazing how many players blunder in the endgame.</p>

Either e5, or a white-squared bishop g4, h5, g6 to disrupt it. I&#8217;ve never played an opponent who blocks both bishops with his pawns.
