Yeah Kevin, that’s exactly what I’d do. Watch a few videos (doesn’t have to be a full module in some cases) until you feel like you have a few “aha” moments and then I’d play several games until you feel like you’re picking up on those concepts in your games.

Kevin, take a look at my Chess.com profile (link in my profile here). If you go to my bullet rating and look at my last 90 days, you’ll see big ratings drops followed by a corresponding recovery. Those big drops were me trying out new openings and the recoveries happened as I got more comfortable with them.
Then I’d try to learn something else…
