However remember the name of the course is &#8220;Breaking 1500&#8221;, not &#8220;Breaking 1800&#8221; or &#8220;Breaking 2000&#8221;.  I don&#8217;t want to get stuck on the openings, my weakness is the middlegame, so even though the new openings are usefull, I hope that I will mostly benefit form the rest of the course. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Thank you for your kind and detailed response. The chart is handy, and I discovered a &#8220;hidden&#8221;place on Lichess I did not know about!</p>
<p>I believe the difference is that chess.com starts your rating at 1000 (not sure if that is still the case?) and Lichess at 1500.   Also, the Lichess has a temporary rating. It is followed by a ? For example, 1486? &hellip;</p>
