Suggestion
I’ve seen complaints about cheaters on chess.com and other platforms. My suggestion is, since we are all here to learn and we know cheating isn’t going to help us improve, why don’t we have a section where we could post our chess.com user names and ELO so we can reach out to play each other ?

One thing I’m thinking of , and not sure if it will work, is to list ourselves as friends on a chess.com site that we all have access to. That way we could play each other the same way we play strangers ?
I’m not real slick with the in and outs of chess.com so it would take someone more familiar with their platform to set it up. Is this possible ?

Mine is darkqloud. Thinking we have to get a separate chess.com account that we can all log into. Think it could be free account?

How about we arrange a Club page? From there we can set up tournaments.
I set one up for us, so please join if you’re interested. Actually, I’ve never done it before, but we can figure out the fine details as we go along.

I have no idea. I just had an idea. It will take people smarter than me to figure out how to do it, which when you see me play chess you’ll know EVERYONE is smarter than me. As far as who can be in it, I think that we in 1500 will be the only ones who know about it ? It would be nice if Nelson jumps in with some input as he is probably familiar with how to set up specialty accounts on chess.com

That explains why I suck at chess.
Let me explain. In an answer to the question from Keith about how to limit those who join ” I have no idea”. As to the scheme of playing each other thru a dedicated site, I just had “an idea ,” no practical plan. I’m leaving that up to someone who can formulate cogent thoughts.
