Congrats ! That game looked like it couldn’t have gone any smoother
for you. I can’t belive it only rated your accuracy in the 66% range.

@nightflyerjoeyahoo-com I opine that accuracy rating must have something to do with how strong the moves are. When I review the games it often shows why the move I make wasn’t as good as I thought even though my opponent fell for it. I would imagine Nelson would rip me to shreds.

chess.com ratings are a mystery for me. Rapid i’m under 500. Puzzles i’ve been as high as 1946, I now hover around 1500-1600. Bots in the 850 range have fallen to me and beat me. Some of my games with bots have said i was 1300 while i’ve also recently been called a 200. My accuracy has been anywhere from 87 to 36 %. btw, i won the game with 36% accuracy against an 850 bot who mysteriously played with less accuracy than me. How is that possible ?

Obviously i am VERY inconsistent. after going thru the blunder check modules i played a game with 7 blunders whereas before the lesson I’ve played without blunders !
I think playing chess is less about the game and more about me psychoanalyzing myself .

Lately I have lost about 10-15 in a row but have noticed the stonewall and owens are both extremely strong provided I do not blunder a piece early on. Even after I lose, the analysis bar shows I had a huge advantage but did not know how to exploit it properly. It takes precise movements.

Ditto. Guess I’ll just have to trust the process. Until the training kicks in I guess I’ll have to be content knowing that I’m making a huge contribution to the chess world. So far it seems that my contribution is to raise EVERYONE else’s ELO by beating me.
