Keith F posted an update
Hello friends! While practicing the owens opening for black, I seem to have trouble finding a home for my bishop after white plays a3 instead of Nf3, which prevents 4… Bb4.

I think Nelson talked about this in one of the videos, maybe the last coaching call? I like to play 4… Nf6 first, so the knight has a place to go if they play 5. e5. Then probably the bishop is going to e7. I think you need to move the knight first though. If you move the bishop to e7 first and they play e5, then the knight is kind of stuck.

@keithfeldtgmail-com ok fellow Keith, I wrote this down and will try it out. Mostly playing 10 minute games to get used to the adrenaline. Not too concerned about rating. I’m new to the quick chess thing but it is fun trying out different openings.

I replied below sorry
I tried a line that seemed okay, went 23 moves and started blundering pawns but managed to defend whites onslaught. Didnt think it through. I was playing an engine app on my phone. Any way we can discuss further without writing a book here? Email perhaps?
