Andrew,

I tried accessing the skills pyramid from my phone and also on my computer and I’m able to access the page and download the pyramid as many times as I want. Your issue is probably your device (I’m assuming a phone?) just prompting you that you’re asking it to download a file you’ve already downloaded.

Here is some general guidance, if…

Hi Audrie!

I haven’t gotten that far into the lesson yet but I jumped ahead to see your question. Is the move you’re referring to Nc6? That would be whites last move before Nelson says “What should black play?”. If that’s the case, the assumption is that black had a piece on the square prior to white making the Knight move. So you can pretend,…

Chess.com is pretty generous with my “brilliant” moves sometimes, haha, but your move was quite good. Your opponent obviously didn’t see it because it looks like he thought your rook was pinned based on his g6 move. Really nice. You made a couple mistakes, like you mentioned, but you were never in trouble. In fact except for one move where…

I’m grateful for another opportunity to support ChessVibes.

I’ve told the story before but want to relay again; I started a chess club at my local library to find people to casually play with. I’m military stationed overseas and wanted to get back into a game I enjoyed when I was younger. At the first…
