In many openings courses, there is way too much memorization of lines that don't seem logical. This one uses logical lines that are not hard to remember.

The course seems to be very interesting and covering all aspects of the game and a fun course to do. I like to retake the course and no matter how many times I redo a video I still find it very interesting. I am very confident that this course will help me improve my rating and game.

As a new chess player you are told not to worry about learning openings and just play by the principles. However, that advice only takes you so far and eventually you need to learn at least a little bit of theory. That is where this bootcamp absolutely shines and it is a great introduction to how to start developing your own opening repertoire.

Nelson doesnt go into every detail of every line, spending hours on one concept. He covers the most important elements and most common things you will see. His delivery of the content is enjoyable and engaging. Im improving each week by spending just 1-2 hours in the academy. Recommended for sure

I’ve learned a lot from Nelson’s boot camps. I just played my best game ever (1 inaccuracy). The games he shared in the videos for this particular bootcamp were spot on. However, I would have liked a more concrete suggestion for practice applying the principles.

Really love this program! Offers tons of info, first of all. All the member only openings and special videos from the Youtube channel are available. Hours of great content. The real star however is the Chess vibes academy bootcamps. It really is a much more practical way to learning than the traditional "watch this video" approach. You get great principles and immediate implementation.
